Introduction to CMMI training class

CMMI for Development
Certificate CMMI Institute | 3 Days

This is the official training of the CMMI Institute (previous SEI) “Introduction to the Capability Maturity Model Integration version 1.3”. You will get the official  certificate of the CMMI Institute which is for instance required for appraisal participation.

You will understand the importance of effective processes for efficient and customer-focused systems and software engineering. You will know how process assessments and evaluations according to CMMI and SCAMPI are performed. You know the basics of process improvement and change projects.

Compared to the many theoretical trainings on process improvement, you will get lots of immediately useful practical guidance. CMMI v1.3 is introduced with details on what is new and how you can best utilize the changes. During the training we discuss concrete industry scenarios for improvement programs and for conducting appraisals. You will get your own demo version of the widely-used assessment tool COMPASS for entries from your own organization.
