The new standard PAS 21448 focuses on driver assistance features with automation levels 1 and 2. Its purpose goes beyond dealing with potential hazards caused by malfunctioning behavior of E/E systems. It covers hazardous behaviors in absence of faults caused by technological limitations and includes evaluation of foreseeable misuse. SOTIF defines goals for the applied engineering processes and a methodology for the assessment of the target functions and provides examples for a suitable improvement measure.

Content and Agenda

Our intensive one-day SOTIF Training will equip you with both parts of this important standard, theory and practical case studies.
