Automotive cybersecurity is of growing concern for the entire automotive industry. Even worse security directly impacts functionality, user experience and safety, and thus has become subject to product liability. Functional safety is not feasible without a concise approach to cover security.
There have been international standards for automotive functional safety, ISO 26262. However, there is currently no global guidelines for security. The ISO/SAE 21434 will soon come into the picture, formulating requirements of cybersecurity risk management.
Our training will provide guidance on the interactions between functional safety and cybersecurity. You will learn how cybersecurity can support functional safety and how to prevent negative impacts resulting from malicious intent external issues to the E/E system.
Additional bonus: The widely used assessment tool COMPASS is presented. You will receive a demo version with full functionality for your own entries.
