1. Should I postpone my training to a later date?
It is not foreseeable when face-to-face training will take place again in view of the current pandemic. Therefore, we advise against cancelling or postponing training sessions. Furthermore, the home-office situation is the ideal opportunity for further training for many of us, since we will need to catch-up with other appointments once things clear up.
At Vector Consulting Services we offer all training in virtual format. Vector Consulting and our trainers have extensive experience with virtual training and have the necessary equipment. This enables us to achieve the same knowledge transfer as in face-to-face training and also the necessary interaction with the participants. The agenda remains unaffected, but with more breaks and short exercises.
2. How is the virtual training technically implemented?
Our virtual training takes place via Skype (audio, video, desktop sharing). From our experience with external Skype sessions, we recommend the use of the Skype Web App and the corresponding plug-in. The participants receive a technical instruction and of course all documents as PDF. Books, like our "Requirements Engineering" book, will be sent by mail.
When documents and videos are shown, we recommend using laptops, instead of smartphones, to talk and view content. In time before the training, we will send you the Skype link.
3. What is the price of virtual training?
Due to the absence of attendance costs, the price for open remote training is reduced by 10% per participant. Further discounts are applicable as before, for example the group discount of 10% from 3 persons. We continue to grant (full-time)students a 70% discount.
4. How do I register for a virtual training?

5. Will I receive training documents?
Before the training, we will send you PDF documents by e-mail.
After the training, we will send you books and training certificate by mail.
6. Is it possible to take IREB exams virtually?
With Remote-Proctored Exams you can take an exam on your own computer. The exam supervision is done via webcam. When the exam is started, a plugin is usually installed on the computer where the exam runs in a secure environment.
7. How can I request a virtual in-house training for my company?
The online registration form only works for open training courses. In-house training must be officially ordered. When formally ordering, we reserve the respective time slot to avoid overbooking - especially in times of Corona pandemic, when customers order and cancel orders ad-hoc.

8. Is it possible to cancel at short notice due to the situation at Corona?
The general agreements such as Terms and Conditions are stable and will not be adjusted. After all, nobody knows how long the travel and work restrictions will last. If a training course is ordered, we make sure that it is carried out properly and at Vector quality.
