Vector USA Consulting Roadshow: Safety, Lean/Agile, PLM/ALM (USA, August 2010)

Vector will show its consulting solutions and experiences in the USA. We will be there in the timeframe of 17. to 25. August 2010 in Detroit, New York and others. The mode will be a "Roadshow" with visits to companies to discuss needs, solutions and our own benchmarks. This Roadshow is for free and sponsored by Vector America. A tutorial at prestigous IEEE Conference on Global Software Engineering will be open to the public.

With the industry just emerging from the global economy crisis and many uncertainties concerning the years 2010 and beyond still in front of us, we offer you exclusive insights into current trends and developments to help you excel even under these difficult conditions.

Christof Ebert, Managing Director of Vector Consulting Services, a renowned international consultant and industry expert, will have presentations on several hot topics:

Electronics engineering efficiency and ways how to improve it. We will dive into lean and agile technieques and look into how to improve your own development.·
Functional safety and ways how to implement it. A critical topic due to the forthcoming publication of the automotive safety standard ISO 26262.
Requirements Engineering tools, methods and emerging trends. We will look to tools, elicitation techniques, certification and to the emerging ReqIF standard.
Product life-cycle management (PLM) solutions and how make the change a success. We will present our experiences with introducing PLM/ALM solutions.
Global engineering, supplier management and collaboration in distributes teams.

Dr. Christof Ebert is managing director at Vector Consulting Services. He is helping clients worldwide to improve product development and product strategy and to manage organizational changes.
